Greetings!

Auxiliary meetings are held on the first Saturday of each month November-April at 11:00 am and the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm May-October. We'd love for you to join us! Feel free to contact me if you have questions or would like to get involved with an amazing group.

Auxiliary Unit Post 560

In the spirit of Service, Not Self, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad.

Our Auxiliary group is dedicated to the mission. We hold a variety of events and raffles to raise funds for the community. We regularly support organizations in the area such as the Faith Food Pantry, Zimmerman Schools, and local families.

If you're curious or would like to get involved, join us for a meeting or drop us a line, we'd love for you to be a part of this heartfelt group.

Annual Events

We host a few standing events that help us raise funds for the community, or support community events. In addition, we also do fun things like soup cook-offs, selling poppy's, quilt raffles, Memorial Day parade, assisting with flag retirement, bus hops, casino bus hops, and much more.

Auxiliary Toy Drop

Held every year on the 1st Saturday in December

Together with the Zimmerman Fire Department, we collect toys and cash donations on Main Street (all dressed up...) and donate to local families in need.
